Terms of Service

Agreement

By accessing or using EndureTrade (the “Service”), including our Chrome extension and web application available at https://www.enduretrade.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

Description of the Service

EndureTrade is a trading journal that helps you log, organize, and revisit trading sessions and individual trades, together with optional notes, tags, strategy labels, and screenshots you add.

The Service includes:

  • A Chrome extension that supports user-initiated journaling on web pages where you choose to use it (for example logging trades, adding notes, and capturing chart screenshots without leaving your workflow)
  • A web application for viewing, managing, and manually entering journal data
  • Cloud-backed storage for that data

Capture and saving are user-controlled: you decide when to log trades, add notes, or take screenshots. The Service is not designed for unattended or automated extraction of third-party data.

We may modify, add, or remove features at any time. Some capabilities described on our website or roadmap may not yet be available.

No affiliation with third-party platforms

EndureTrade is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any charting platform, broker, exchange, or other third-party trading service. Names and trademarks of third parties belong to their respective owners.

Your use of any third-party website, application, or service alongside EndureTrade is governed solely by that third party’s terms and policies. You are solely responsible for complying with those terms, including any rules about automation, data collection, screenshots, or account use. Use of the extension on third-party sites is at your own risk.

Not financial, investment, or trading advice

The Service is provided for informational and record-keeping purposes only. Nothing on the Service constitutes investment, financial, tax, legal, or trading advice. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, risk management, and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and broker requirements.

Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws or third-party terms you are bound by.
  • Use the extension or web app to scrape, mine, or systematically extract data from third-party services without authorization, or in a manner that violates those services’ terms.
  • Upload, store, or share content that infringes third-party rights.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the extension or web app (except where permitted by law).
  • Automate access or overload our systems beyond normal intended use.
  • Use the Service to harass, spam, or harm others.
  • Circumvent any security or access controls.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Your Content and Data

You retain ownership of session and trade data, notes, screenshots, and other content you upload or create in the Service (“Your Content”).

By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, analyze, and back up Your Content solely as necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the Service.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to submit Your Content, that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and third-party terms, and that Your Content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

Chrome Extension Permissions

Our Chrome extension requests permissions needed for sign-in, journaling features you activate, optional screenshots of tabs you are using, and secure sync with your account. The extension operates only in connection with features you use; it is not intended to access unrelated browsing activity for the Service.

Specific host permissions or site access may apply depending on product version and the pages where you enable journaling. Details appear in the extension’s Chrome Web Store listing and in-product disclosures.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers such as our cloud hosting and database provider, analytics services, and payment processors (if applicable). Your use of charting tools, brokers, browsers, or other third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for those services.

Freemium and Paid Plans

The Service offers a free tier with per-period limits on new trades, memos, and trade messages, and a paid Pro tier with higher limits. Current pricing is published on the pricing page. Usage counters reset at the start of each billing period (30-day windows on the free tier; Stripe subscription periods on Pro).

Payments and subscription management are processed by Stripe. Upgrades are completed on the web; the Chrome extension links to your account subscription page for billing changes.

Refunds: New subscriptions (monthly or annual) qualify for a full refund if you cancel or request a refund within 15 days of purchase. For annual subscriptions cancelled after that window, refunds may be pro-rated: we retain an amount based on the then-current monthly Pro list price for each month of the term already used, and refund the remainder of what you paid for the unused portion (minus payment processing fees where applicable). Refunds may be issued via Stripe or manually at our discretion until automated refund tooling is available.

Failed payments: If a recurring payment fails, your account may be downgraded to the free tier immediately without a grace period. You may subscribe again at any time.

Pricing, limits, and plan features may change with reasonable notice. Screenshots remain available on all plans.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all data will be perfectly preserved. Data you save may occasionally be incomplete depending on how you enter it, third-party page layouts, or technical limitations. We do not warrant that use of the Service will not result in action by a third party (for example account restrictions on a charting or broker platform).

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, TRADING LOSSES, OR GOODWILL.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (i) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (ii) one hundred US dollars (USD $100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the Service, your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party terms or laws in connection with the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, prolonged inactivity, or legal requirements. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, but sections that by their nature should survive (liability, indemnification, governing law, etc.) will continue to apply.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version with an updated date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in United Kingdom.

Miscellaneous

  • If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
